Karaoke party ideas for kids, from birthdays to snow days

A small speaker goes where a big one cannot. These are the stages we had in mind when we added the carry strap.

Birthday

Let the birthday child open the show, then pass the second mic down the line. Ten short songs beat three long ones.

In the car

The cube runs on its battery, so a back-seat duet needs nothing but a playlist. Lights off for night drives.

Classroom

Alphabet songs, counting songs and the class favorite at the end. A yellow or off-white set is easy to spot on a busy shelf.

Holidays

Carols with the snowman edition, a spooky monster voice at Halloween, and one song each before the Thanksgiving pie.

Outside

Finish with a stilts race in the yard. Singers get a break and the audience gets a turn.
